Chiropractors

Dr Elizabeth Borham

My name is Elizabeth Borham but everyone calls me Liz.

I discovered chiropractic care at the age of 30, seeking help for asthma which I’d struggled with for my entire life. Little did I know back then that seeing a chiropractor would transform my life, not only in terms of my health but also in my career.

I have a varied history, working as an economist, an IT consultant, running a florist shop and, as many of the patients at Watsonia Chiropractic will know, as a chiropractic assistant. I finished six years of study in chiropractic, graduating with distinction from RMIT University in Bundoora.

In addition to a chiropractor, I am also a wife to the amazing Gary and a mummy to the wonderful Hannah and Lucy.

I see my role as chiropractor as your partner in achieving your health goals and having you feel and function as well as you can. I look forward to talking with you and discovering how we can achieve your goals together.

Dr Yanto Kusuma

Yanto has possessed a desire for understanding and an interest in health since his childhood. These two factors along with a penchant for natural methods were major driving forces fuelling his entrance into Chiropractic study.

The ABC technique was first introduced to Yanto midway through his third year of university by Marthin Mikkelsen, his classmate at the time. Feeling the effects of ABC on his own body immediately impressed him and the technique continued to earn his respect as he learned more of its logical foundation. Throughout the second half of his degree he honed his skills in the ABC technique, graduating with high distinction from Murdoch University in Perth, Western Australia.

The relocation to Melbourne in addition to the opportunity to work with an inspiring team of people has left Yanto eager to enter into the next chapter of his career. The Seventh Day Adventist church has also helped make his transition as comfortable as possible by instantly connecting him with a loving community.

Learning persists as a large part of his life as he spends his own time studying language (Japanese mostly), nutrition, music and art. He also has interests in a wide variety of movement practices, mostly being inspired by Ido Portal but including bouldering, martial arts and gymnastics.
